Tutti i kettle a gas di Outdoorchef sono dati dell'esclusivo sistema a imbuto che garantisce distribuzione del calore uniforma all'interno del kettle e previene pericolose fiammate dal momento che i bruciatori sono completamente protetti.
Il grasso che gocciola non prende fuoco ma viene canalizzato attraverso l'imbuto nel vassoio di raccolta sotto il kettle, così il cibo in griglia non brucia e l'interno del barbecue rimane pulito.
Alcuni dei grassi e dei succhi della carne che entrano in contatto con l'umbuto evaporano, dando al cibo l'intenso aroma di barbecue.
